The Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) PXT Team is looking for a talented and strategic Sr. HRBP to drive the HR Strategy in support of Finance Operations. If you are interested in gaining an enterprise-wise outlook on Amazon’s strategy through a financial lens, this role is an excellent opportunity for you!
In this position you will partner with the various senior executives (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. This role is both a strategic and hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Sr. HRBP who can effectively interact with the senior leadership team, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple key stakeholders.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The Sr. HRBP in this role is also expected to leverage data to set HR priorities and establish mechanisms to drive change. Strong data acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, excellent communication, coaching, and project management skills will be required to be successful in this role. We work in a dynamic environment and move fast! The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives where there are opportunities to drive improvement and changes.
This role is based in Seattle, WA and in office.
About the team
Finance and Global Business Services (FGBS) is comprised of three pillars: 1) Direct Business Support for all customer-facing businesses (i.e., AWS, Stores, Devices and Services, GME, Ads, Corp. Dev.). 2) Core Financial Functions which include: Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance Technology and Internal Audit. 3) Global Business Services which include: Finance Operations, Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) and Risk Analytics & Insights.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization.
- Strong business and HR acumen
- Learning agility and growth mindset
- Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization
- Proven ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Strong Project/Program Management and Prioritization Skills
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Ability to work well across different functions and global locations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to help leaders navigate a variety of organizational changes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
