As a critical component of AWS's resilience offerings, CloudEndure DRS enables rapid and reliable recovery of physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers into AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss for organizations of all sizes.
Since its integration into AWS, CloudEndure DRS has been instrumental in helping businesses maintain operational continuity in the face of unexpected infrastructure failures, data corruption, or malicious attacks. With features such as continuous replication, cross-region and cross-account support, and automated orchestration, CloudEndure DRS sets the standard for disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.
The CloudEndure DRS team is responsible for developing and enhancing this mission-critical service, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in disaster recovery technology. We are seeking talented software development engineers to join our team and tackle complex challenges in areas such as data replication, system orchestration, and automated failover processes.
In this role, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of the CloudEndure DRS service—from conceptualizing and designing new features to implementing, testing, and maintaining core components of the system. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies that directly impact the business continuity of thousands of AWS customers worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions for CloudEndure DRS, focusing on areas such as continuous data replication, automated machine conversion, and orchestration.
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of new features that push the boundaries of disaster recovery technology, improving RPOs and RTOs for our customers.
Optimize system performance, reliability, and security to ensure CloudEndure DRS meets the demanding needs of enterprise customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the product roadmap, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile planning sessions to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with support teams to maintain customer satisfaction.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in cloud computing, disaster recovery, and distributed systems.
Contribute to the development of cross-region and cross-account support features, enhancing the flexibility of CloudEndure DRS.
Work on improving the automated failover processes and non-disruptive testing capabilities of the service.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of building production software experience
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Experience with Agile Scrum, continues delivery and integration environments
