Finance Manager, Alexa Enterprise and BD Finance

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member of our Alexa Enterprise and Business Development (BD) team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative and creative businesses at Amazon.
The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments.
This Business Partner role requires a self-starter with solid business modeling skills and a good track record of being an adviser to the business.
This job has regular interaction with business leaders across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role also involves partnering with the business to develop financial models for advertising and enterprise partnerships that will drive key strategic decisions for the business.
Key job responsibilities
1) Deliver key business insights and opportunities with financial ROI, and work with stakeholders to prioritize and optimize based on cost/benefit.
2) Serve as a key finance partner supporting the Alexa Enterprise and BD Business.
3) Lead the development of financial models and advanced analytical tools that aid in key decision making.
4) Drive creation, implementation and reporting of financial and engagement performance metrics.
5) Build out business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction.
6) Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
