Sr. QA Engineer, Alexa Ambient Computing Techs

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Create test plans and test cases for our consumer products
• Write test scripts and execute automation scripts across all functional areas
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
• Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
• Leading and response for key feature’s quality
• Manage and review vendor’s test cases and test results
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of software QA testing experience with black and grey box functional testing and analysis product quality issue
- Demonstrated expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles
- Strong experience in managing test plan executing and report with priority
- Hands-on experience in testing Linux-based devices
- Strong communication skill with solid writing English
- Willing to learn and take challenge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Product experience with wireless consumer electronics is a strong plus
- Experience in using C, Python/Bash program language is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel and drivers is a plus
- Experience in Linux Yocto will be a plus.
