EU Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for an enthusiastic, customer obsessed, Program Manager with a good operational background to support the financial strategy, process and standards on the EU ATS Expansion into new European countries and businesses. To be successful in this role, you need knowledge and passion on transportation industry and the ability to process information to drive business decisions based on this knowledge. Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences. The ability to remain flexible and adept to learning new tools and systems is instrumental your role on the team.
This team is still relatively new and so that requires self-paced and motivated individuals who are detailed oriented yet agile and who can work collaboratively across all EU ATS and other business units.
The ideal candidate has a background of running cross-functional projects, network manager, carrier manager or program manager related to transportation topics. The candidate is comfortable rolling-up their sleeves and working on implementation. They have demonstrated the ability to multitask and work in short and long term.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- You will create and own ATS Expansion strategy and roadmap
- You will work with extended cross functional team to understand customer needs and look for ATS capabilities to improve customer deliver experience
- You will work on developing new value propositions for EU countries
- You will look at long term vision and return of investment to enable solutions for EU Expansion countries
- You will work with various stakeholders within the wider Amazon operations such as Global Mile, GTS, Retail, Finance, etc., and help create the long term expansion plan and execute it.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- A Bachelor degree
- Relevant experience leading cross-functional programmes or projects using project-management methodologies
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced or master’s degree
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams
