Payroll Prep Specialist, LATAM Payroll Prep
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Prep Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on efficiently handling new hire information and accurately coding payroll inputs across multiple platforms and systems that feed into the payroll process.
Key job responsibilities
1. Process and verify new hire information in payroll and HR systems.
2. Accurately code payroll inputs across various platforms and systems (e.g., Apdata, PeopleSoft, Payroll Central, Amazon systems).
3. Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems used in the payroll process.
4. Perform quality checks and internal audits of entered data to ensure accuracy.
5. Resolve discrepancies and anomalies in new hire data and other payroll inputs.
6. Collaborate with HR and Recruitment teams to optimize the flow of new employee information.
7. Maintain up-to-date employee records in payroll systems.
8. Provide support in the setup and maintenance of payroll codes across various systems.
9. Participate in process improvement and automation projects related to payroll data entry.
10. Stay current with best practices in payroll data management and relevant new technologies.
A day in the life
Checks mails and prioritize daily tasks and any urgent new hire information or payroll input requests.This involves entering data accurately into multiple systems and ensuring consistency across platforms.Perform quality checks and internal audits on the morning's data entries to ensure accuracy. Resolve any discrepancies or anomalies found during this process.Collaborate with HR team members to optimize the flow of new employee information and address any issues with recent hires' data.
Work on maintaining employee records in payroll systems, ensuring all information is current and accurate. Participate in a process improvement meeting, discussing automation projects for payroll data entry and management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• English and Spanish fluency.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with emphasis on data management and systems.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience using multiple payroll and HR platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with databases.
