Compliance and Program Manager , Amazon Music
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Program Manager to support our monday.com project. This role will ensure adherence to compliance standards while driving program efficiency, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and supporting the overall success of the initiative.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversee compliance aspects of the monday.com implementation, ensuring adherence to Amazon's policies, US GAAP, and IFRS standards.
- Manage and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), providing comprehensive updates on program progress, compliance status, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate the rollout of new features within monday.com, ensuring timely implementation and adoption while maintaining compliance standards.
- Drive team efficiency and effectiveness, implementing best practices and performance metrics aligned with compliance requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with compliance and program objectives.
- Coordinate and manage internal audits, working with auditors to provide necessary documentation and implement improvements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of information provided to business teams, establishing robust quality control processes that meet compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including risk assessments, compliance checklists, and financial impact analyses.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or MBA
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- 8-10 years of experience in program management or compliance roles
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and corporate compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Experience with monday.com or similar project management tools
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting processes and internal control frameworks
- Analytical mindset with robust problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
