DESCRIPTION
In this highly visible partner-facing role as the Global Partner Training (GPT) Sales Initiatives Lead for AMER, you will enable AWS Partners to deepen their AWS knowledge and skills, differentiate their business, and better serve their customers. Bringing digital training to partners through Skill Builder, AWS T&C’s digital gamified service, is one way we are transforming learning. Through all training modalities, we strive to develop partners’ cloud expertise. You will be pivotal in creating and executing strategies to drive T&C to AWS Partners and working worldwide to lead and share go-to-market (GTM) strategies globally. The successful candidate is partner obsessed, learns quickly and easily adapts to change, is comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced environment, earns trust through performance and relationship building, and communicates with and is able to influence employees at all levels of the organization. The ability to autonomously react with appropriate urgency, collaborate and bring people together, coordinate across teams, and deliver results are essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Identify and work with AWS Partner leaders to build/execute training plans that drive positive partner individuals’ learning experiences and increase learners, certifications, and revenue.
• Attend partner engagements with Partner Enablement Managers (PEM) in region as you co-design and deliver appropriate partner training and certification solutions and bring deals to closure.
• Own the GTM strategy and execution for region by identifying and developing programmatic and scalable sale initiatives to build and grow partner opportunities.
• Lead partner monthly/quarterly business reviews. Monitor partner onboarding and adoption; develop approaches to increase number of product/service offerings, revenue growth rates, and retention rates.
• Architect sales development plans that identify specific partner segments, industry verticals, and partner markets to approach.
• Be an internal/external trusted advisor for AWS Partner training programs, T&C training offerings, course roadmap, funding programs, partner programs, and course objectives.
• Possess analytical capability to understand trends across the partner community. Work with partner leaders in region to help drive partner revenue.
• Define partner program scope and develop milestones to ensure timely completion of programs.
• Develop and execute goals to drive long term growth in your geography, while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven key performance indicators (KPI).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of a combination of business development, sales, and/or product management experience
- Experience developing strategies that drive service purchase and consumption (SaaS)
- Experience structuring deals, proposal development, and inner workings of deal desk
- Experience executing strategies that influence leadership decisions
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Sales, Pre-sales, Technical Consulting, or Delivery enablement
- 5+ years cloud technology sales or distributed computing and relating back to curriculum
- 5+ years comprehensive use of data to provide analytics in making business decisions
- Experience in learning and development, or in an enablement-related position
- Experience in Partner or Channel enablement
- Hands-on experience with AWS products and services and AWS certified.
- Ownership oriented; ability to internalize goals and create appropriate action plans
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
