Amazon UK Fresh is seeking a talented and experienced Retail Operations Communications Manager to help embed a culture of best practice sharing, collaboration, and knowledge transfer across our growing physical stores business.

This multi-faceted role requires the ability to work backwards from ambiguous customer requirements to distil clear and concise communication objectives, and then determine the most suitable approach to deliver results; utilising our existing range of channels and tools.

The successful candidate will have a solid track record of thinking big to build successful communications programs that help achieve organizational strategies and objectives. In addition, they will demonstrate strong writing and editing skills for both original content as well as rewriting and optimising content from subject matter experts.

Meticulous at planning and co-ordination, this person will be responsible for facilitating quarterly All Teams Meetings across Amazon Fresh, and creating engaging touchpoints that connect Field teams with their Corporate peers to foster inclusive working relationships.

Basic Qualifications
* Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
* Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
* Experience driving program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
* Experience in program or project management
* Experience in creating internal communication frameworks within a retail environment, that connect with wider organisational goals.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a matrixed organization
* Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

* Drive a world-class field communications strategy, aligned with Fresh business objectives and integrated with the wider UK&IE Operations Internal Communications strategy
* Implement the tactical plan that drives awareness and adoption of best practice, programs, and initiatives aimed at improving field productivity and implementation
* Propose and execute new ways of creating and distributing communications that expand program awareness and adoption
* Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to produce compelling and effective content for a variety of audiences and channels including (but not limited to) email newsletters, videos, and digital broadcasts
* Manage an internal communications calendar
* Institutionalise an effective methodology for measuring the success of field communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience with basic web-based tools and products like Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree
