The European Marketplace Finance team is looking for a highly analytical, result-driven and forward-looking Senior Financial Analyst based in Luxembourg to support the growth of the Strategic Account Services (SAS) program, a program that helps Sellers build a successful and sustainable business on Amazon.

As Senior Financial Analyst you will:
- Partner closely with both Finance and Business stakeholders in Luxembourg and in the main European markets (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium) and in our Global HQ in the US
- Own reporting, planning and forecasting of the SAS program P&L and provide meaningful insights on growth and profitability drivers
- Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new initiatives and drive decisions on investment opportunities
- Drive process efficiency through standardization, simplification and automation which are also scalable to other Finance teams
- Run ad-hoc analyses and own ad-hoc projects beyond the role in scope to support other areas of the EU Marketplace business
- Support weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- Experience in a finance role or equivalent
- Expert level in Excel
- Experience in building financial and/or operational reports and work with key performance indicators to drive insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in dealing with ambiguity
- Strong bias for action, including the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Fluent English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in financial modelling, developing business cases and driving financial conclusions
- Experience in participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
