Network Capacity Manager, ATS Brazil
DESCRIPTION
The ATS Network Capacity Manager is responsible for managing ATS capacity and network, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials, as well, ensuring sorting centers has efficient planning, aligned to trucking size determination. This role oversees optimization of transportation and building resources, including carriers, equipment, to meet the organization's delivery and customer service requirements.
Key job responsibilities
• Analyze transportation data, trends and forecasts to develop short and mid capacity plans that align with the company's business objectives;
• Optimize transportation networks, modes, lanes and facilities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain service levels, ensuring customer centric operations;
• Ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams, including transportation middle mile, transportation last mile, TOM, Sorting Centers to understand capacity requirements and develop integrated logistics solutions;
• Monitor and report on key ATS performance metric such throughput utilization, middle mile empty mile and truck asset utilization;
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align on transportation and sort centers strategies, identify synergies, and resolve operational issues;
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, such as DS, FCs and SCs to enhance coordination and visibility;
• Develop and implement processes to integrate transportation planning with sales forecasting and production scheduling to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
A day in the life
The Transportation Capacity Manager's day is a dynamic balance of tactical and strategic planning, diving deep into operational details when necessary. They start by reviewing performance metrics and addressing any issues, then join cross-functional meetings to align transportation and sorting center plans with sales, operations, and supply chain. Throughout the day, the Capacity Manager analyzes forecasts, deviation, engaging teams to ensure they are making syncronuns decisions and capacity adjustments. Can also facilitates workshops to optimize resource usage and improve visibility. Maintaining a keen focus on both short-term and long-term strategies, the Capacity Manager ensures the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods to meet the organization's delivery goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree;
- Proficient in transportation management systems, productive dynamics and data analysis tools;
- Knowledge of transportation modes, warehouse and operational models, carrier capabilities, and industry best practices;
- Project management and change management experience;
- Ability to pull large dataset and convert it into insights that can drive efficiency;
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Supply chain experience;
- Advanced English;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel;
