Senior UX Researcher, Amazon Ads

The Ads Supply and Creative Experiences team is seeking a teammate with exceptional behavioral research skills and creativity to work collaboratively with UX design, data science, engineering, and product management through all aspects of the product development life-cycle. In this role, you will have significant impact on our customers’ experience of advertising by helping our team use data-driven insights to inspire changes across multiple Amazon products.
Prior experience with advertising technology is not a prerequisite for this role, but obsessing over the customer certainly is one. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research in an applied setting.
- BA/BS in psychology, sociology, anthropology, human computer interaction or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of behavioral statistics and the principles of experimental design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience, deliverables, and the ability to extract actionable insights from qualitative data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research in an applied setting.
- MA/MS in psychology, sociology, anthropology, human computer interaction or related discipline.
- Strong command of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
