Product Manager, Logistics Insurance and Claims
DESCRIPTION
Logistics Insurance team is part of the Last Mile Delivery and Technology organization, and we are responsible for designing, launching, and managing the insurance product strategy for our third-party delivery providers around the world across all of the various use cases.
As a Product Manager, you will work on product developments and feature innovations across our insurance products in EU, APAC, and MENA regions, supporting other product leads to develop a vision, execute on roadmaps, and collaborate with key partner teams to deliver world-class insurance products to our third-party delivery providers. You will act as a subject matter expert, simplifying complex insurance concepts for our diverse stakeholders and aligning them to our product roadmaps. You will also lead insurance product launches for growing delivery initiatives, and also oversee end-to-end renewal mechanisms for existing products. You will champion process improvements to build and manage working mechanisms for financial headlights, vendor contract management, vendor payments, and regulatory compliance for products in different regions.

We do this by creating insurance programs that protect and support the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and business owners who partner with Amazon to improve delivery flexibility, speed, and reliability for our customers. We measure our success through improvements in financials, operational insurance and claims metrics, and the impact we deliver for our community members’ businesses.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
- 3+ years of insurance industry experience (experience in international insurance is a plus)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience performing financial or other quantitative analyses
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
