Senior Compliance Manager, The Drop
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an exceptional leader to build and manage compliance processes and protocols for Amazon Fashion. This role will enable new business opportunities by executing on a broad range of product compliance matters, working directly with business leadership, procurement, transportation, operations, legal, tax, and external vendors to drive product compliance across the global supply chain. The successful candidate shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision making and proactively and continually improves their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business, its products, and relevant technologies.
This position will be located in Seattle, WA, USA.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Define compliance processes and protocols for fashion product to ensure customer safety and enable speed in the supply chain.
- Ensure that regulatory requirements are met for fashion products.
- Work cross-functionally and manage compliance training and awareness raising programs in retail, operations, and sales teams.
- Develop best-in-class processes and systems, and drive continual improvement.
- Drive scalable business solutions which ensure compliance with consumer product regulations.
A day in the life
You will be responsible for supporting The Drop's innovative manufacturing model. You will have ownership over onboarding and training new suppliers on quality and compliance requirements, working with internal compliance teams to ensure The Drop product is following Amazon standards, working with the product development team and suppliers to audit all product test reports and pre-shipment inspection reports.

The Drop is an Amazon Fashion program that is the destination of choice to discover on-trend fashion on Amazon. The Drop partners with influencers to develop limited edition, made-on-demand fashion collections supported by evergreen on-trend staples that are styles that should be in every closet. We continue to focus on innovation in our design and production model to raise the bar for customers seeking on-trend, accessible fashion.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
