Sr. PM, Community Education, Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator (USBA)

Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) helps drive the success of small and historically underrepresented business populations (including minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses). As a part of the USBA, Amazon has committed to empower Black-owned businesses through the Black Business Accelerator (BBA), which provides access to resources that support their growth in Amazon’s store.
We seek a Sr. Program Manager who is able to apply their customer obsession towards building experiential and educational events for participants in Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator. Specifically, this role will work closely with the USBA Marketing and Seller Engagement teams to develop and implement learning opportunities for Selling Partners. Your work will directly help build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by providing experiences where they can network and learn. We are seeking an experienced program manager with deep knowledge of entrepreneurial and Amazon selling partner education who can help design and implement educational panels, networking opportunities, and other learning experiences for USBA selling partners. Specifically, in this role, the Program Manager will work with various stakeholders with planning, production and execution of BBA experiential events that are virtual and/or in-person. You will be a leader in operational excellence and logistics, responsible for designing a calendar of educational sessions based on guidance from leadership, USBA's calendar of events, and relevant selling partner activities. You will identify, invite, and manage thought leaders, who help deploy the educational sessions you develop. You will creating briefings, scripts, and other materials to make sure that our speakers and selling partners have a delightful experience. You will own building repeatable processes to scale event activities.

Key job responsibilities
· Assist in defining educational objectives and goals for BBA virtual and in-person experiences
· Manage relationships with the USBA marketing and seller engagement teams to ensure that educational learning objectives are being met during community events and engagements.
· Design a content calendar that is connected to seasonal selling partner needs, USBA initiatives, and USBA events. Develop session abstracts and content to align with these objectives.
· Identify and manage participants and stakeholders for educational event sessions, including Amazon SMEs, external stakeholders, thought leaders, and selling partners. Ensure that all participants feel prepared with detailed briefings and scripts to support day-of participation.
· Manage speaker logistics including invitations, coordination calls, travel, and budget. Create comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, escalate risks and challenges appropriately and ensure event is delivered on time and on budget.
· Deliver post mortem event retrospective with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment, SP learnings, and recommendations for future event improvements and iteration.

The Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) team works to help selling partners and customers discover the best of Amazon using data and insights to invent, test, and scale strategies that drive financial and perception goals. We understand there are systemic barriers that have limited the education and access for underserved business to grow and scale within Amazon. The BBA Amplify team is committed to addressing those systemic barriers by providing Black and underrepresented businesses with access to education, business coaching, opportunities for strategic capital, and networks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
