Creative Producer, Prime Video Sports
DESCRIPTION
Prime Video is seeking an experienced Sr. Creative Producer for our growing Global Live Sports Production team. This role will work with the Head of Creative Services to lead the development, production and oversight of creative strategies, graphics packages, and other design-based needs, supporting the entire Live Sports Production team. You will immerse yourself in the logistical details of each project, serving as a communication hub between internal and external collaborators while overseeing the successful execution of all deliverables.
You will manage projects that enhance our brand’s identity and resonate with our audience. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class creative for our live sports offerings. This role requires collaborative leadership, ownership, vision, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and a drive to learn and be curious.
This role will be key in the creative development, execution, delivery and support of on-air graphics for all Live Sports Productions. You will work closely with the Head of Creative Services, Sr. Creative Services Manager, Design, and Executive and Coordinating Producers while organizing workflows between internal and external partners. The Sr. Creative Producer will also focus on the advancement of our own Graphics production pipeline, assisting to build an industry leading standard Graphics department to service the needs of our entire portfolio.
A successful candidate will have experience managing teams and workflows related to all facets of on air/live sports graphics design working alongside production, production operations and the technical operations teams, often with little oversight. You will need to be a quick learner – able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows and timelines.
You will find yourself in scenarios where you are working as part of a team and where you act on behalf of our team. The ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines will be critical to the success of this position.
The desire and ability to learn and be curious, staying on the cutting edge of graphic design trends and technology specific to that field will be of the utmost importance. You will need to thrive in a startup environment while working on projects that may be foreign to some of your industry peers. Overall sports knowledge and understanding of each properties graphics needs and nuances will also be crucial to success.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a central point-of-contact between internal and external collaborators involved in the planning, development, execution and support of assigned projects.
• Define scope of work and create and maintain project schedules for assigned projects.
• Work closely with department leadership to establish, forecast, rescope and/or accommodate project budget constraints from conception to delivery.
• Assist in management of project statements of work, estimates and related parameters with external vendors and agencies.
• Actively participate in problem-solving, balancing each project’s technical, logistic or content needs with our goal of developing innovative and creative ways to tell stories through graphics.
• Provide direction and guidance to collaborators and partners ensuring their work aligns with the Prime Video’s overall vision and goals.
• Ensure that Prime Video’s visual identity remains consistent across all platforms, including on-air graphics, logos, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners such as advertisers, sponsors, and sports leagues to help in the creation of content and sponsorship opportunities.
• Oversight of budget for creative projects and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sports broadcasting.
• Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end-to-end workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes and workflows.
• Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow and technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- • 8+ years of creative services experience.
- • 5 + years of management experience.
- • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.
- • Deep understanding of design, branding, and motion graphics principles.
- • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- • Strong working knowledge of creative tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts clearly.
- • Experience working at or with a creative or advertising agency, network, streaming
- service or studio
- • Experience leading process improvements or operations tool implementations.
- • Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
- • Experience with digital asset management tools.
- • Experience defining the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company.
- • Experience educating non-technical stakeholders and working across multiple teams and regions.
- • Ability to problem-solve and multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- • Experience working in both event/game and studio/shoulder programming settings.
- • Experience working on or with large-scale, global projects
- • Experience presenting to peers and up to 3 levels above own
- • A working knowledge of Remote and Studio control room workflows and playback devices.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
