Amazon Fulfillment Technology is seeking a Sr. Program Manager - Employee Experience to partner on business strategy and goals related to employee experience. In this role, the Sr. Program Manager will use their skills to work both across the business and HR to help leaders develop and rollout innovative and impactful inclusion and employee experience plans. The Sr. Program Manager will partner with the business and HR leadership to assess organizational health, identifying opportunities, and aligning impactful solutions. This individual will also partner with HR partners, to scale the adoption of organizational programs. They will measure and communicate results against committed actions, so that we can ensure meaningful and measurable progress towards employee experience and business goals.

This role will plan, execute, and deliver work product in multiple formats including mechanisms and frameworks, self-service tools, in-person development activities, presentations and specific consultation based on leader need. Just as importantly, at times, the Sr. Program Manager will help track and communicate results at the senior executive leadership level. Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, address partner concerns, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as they implement programs is critical.

It is essential that the Sr. Program Manager is a strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves and implement at the same time. This role requires the ability to be a thought leader, interpret data into trends that are easily digestible in written form, educate and influence a team of passionate and engaged senior leaders, and the ability to translate strategies or prior practices into practical and actionable solutions that meet business needs.

Key job responsibilities
Drive Employee Experience strategy and initiatives, leverage mechanisms to regularly update the business leaders on progress and business impact;
Build employee experience plans aligned and in support of our business plans; develop goals and strategies;
Implement and scale initiatives globally across large, diverse, and multifunctional organizations;
Provide consultations to PXT (HR) Business Partners and senior leaders to develop appropriate reports, metrics and research;
Maintain employee data integrity;
Partner with the PXT team to develop mechanisms that foster a more inclusive environment;
Establish alignment and partnership with the PXT Business Partners and Recruiting Teams; Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines to establish yourself and the team as a trusted SME with business partners and HR teams;
Be an active partner and advisor to DEI community teams and affinity groups;
Partner with Central IXT teams to share and identify best practices, leverage effective tools from across Amazon and deploy them in a way that is meaningful to business partners;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 7+ years of experience working in an HR or business function.
- 3+ years of relevant employee engagement and/or DEI experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience operating as strategic global partners for the leaders, effectively analyzing data and aligning with impactful diversity strategies that drive significant business impact.
- Previous work that focuses on efforts that solve large, significantly complex, and/or highly confidential problems to surface proposals grounded in subject matter expertise and internal/external research.
- Strong people analytics skills with an understanding of tech employee populations and their unique needs.
- Ability to think strategically and programmatically. Experience in enabling and embedding world class projects across multiple businesses.
- Experience and credibility as a leader in an environment where the ability to influence, work across a complex matrix, and build relationships is critical.
- Strong organizational skills, successful collaboration with colleagues, and a strong results orientation. Ability to identify and surface risks/opportunities in org-level strategies and make trade-offs: business opportunity vs. resources vs. sustainability.
- A driven, results-oriented and resourceful leader who is capable of quickly taking control of their responsibilities and establishing themselves as a credible strategic partner.
- A highly effective written communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and leaders.
- Experience in the employee life-cycle with a focus on talent management and engagement.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
