DESCRIPTION

The Global Services Partner Initiatives (GSPI) team within Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented individual to grow our Partner GTM function. AWS, the world’s leading cloud provider, offers cutting-edge cloud solutions that benefit companies of all sizes. Scaling through partners is a key part of helping customers move to cloud services that power strategic use cases.

This role will help connect our AWS field sellers and our Global Services strategic partners to ignite and expand our joint customers’ AWS cloud adoption journey.

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to successfully build GTM strategy and partner sales execution mechanisms to accelerate specialized partner contribution. In this role, you will collaborate closely with AWS field teams, Partner organization, and AWS marketing to guide partners and sellers in meeting their customers' demand in accelerating their adoption to cloud and specialized services. You will leverage partner ecosystem and partner GTM best practices, and drive and accelerate partner contribution with consistency and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
- Interlock with specialist and field teams to communicate, collaborate and implement joint GTM strategy.
- Bring pillar/domain expertise across the partner and field teams on partner capabilities and sales plays to drive partner solution selling and mutual success in targeted sales territories to accelerate AWS service adoption.
- Drive awareness and demand to AWS and partner offerings, integrating through AWS-led campaigns and messaging
- Build and promote customer case studies with partners to provide customers with tangible results and implementation stories
- Project management: to be able to execute a wide-ranging overall plan through assigned, monitorable tasks, and deliver results
- Bring data signals back to the Partner Development builders to prioritize and optimize joint sales plays and solutions with our specialized partners.
- Enable the partner sales managers, specialists and field teams with partner solutions and sales capabilities; Drive scale with the field teams to incorporate partners into joint GTM plans, campaigns and sales plays.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
