AWS Cloudfront is looking for experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team and lead critical initiatives!

Key job responsibilities
- Design for new systems from scratch or improving existing systems and own the technical direction for the initiative from start to finish.
- Play the technical advisor role by mentoring and guiding the team members to solve complex problems with simple solutions.
- Drive the big ideas to improve availability and performance initiatives across the organizations.
- Involve in both coding and code reviews.

Our team's charter is:
We build and manage the components like CloudFront Core Routing, Anycast Routing, L4LB, Traffic Director, DNS and Backbone Intelligent Routing.
The services are built using variety of technologies like Rust, C/C++, Java, eBPF XDP, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, ElasticCache etc.
Experience in one or more of these technologies along with real world practices on the software engineering principles and fundamentals are ideal for this role.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work on one or more services that handled the traffic for the events like Cricket World Cup, FIFA World Cup, Thursday Night Football etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
