Amazon Web Services is looking for a Supply Chain Risk Intelligence Analyst to help build the reporting, data analysis and insights across the global supply chain to internal business units. This position will work with supply chain and analytics leadership to help identify risks to the supply chain and report their impact to internal and external Customers. This role will also be responsible for assisting in Supply Chain assessment and analysis, and reporting on supplier intelligence.

• Prepare detailed intelligence reports, support and scale risk assessments across business departments, critically analyze incoming intelligence for reliability and significance, and effectively communicate findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Drive collaboration and alignment of risk initiatives with a wide range of AWS cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management.
• Formulate and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, safeguarding the AWS supply chain.
• Develop and refine analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of risk assessments.
• Maintain assessments and data, and document processes in SOPs, ensuring they are aligned and easily retrievable for any internal or external audit requests

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Political Science or related discipline, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of industry experience in risk identification and remediation.
• 5+ years of experience managing programs or projects in regulated environments.
• Strong writing skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging reports for various audiences and purposes.
• Strong ability to interpret and analyze raw data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements and preparing artifacts effectively to audits.
• Proven expertise in identifying and assessing supply chain risks.
• Possess excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
