We are currently looking to hire an External Fulfillment Specialist to join the team. The External Fulfillment Specialist will communicate and bridge gaps between Amazon and the Third Party Logistics provider (3PL). The role will interact with various teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively. Effective communication is essential and this can be at all levels within Amazon and the 3PL organization. Successful candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and be able to prioritize the right tasks in order to deliver results timely. Candidates will be expected to travel up to 50% of their time.
Key job responsibilities
1) Monitor 3PL performance KPI metrics to contractual level
2) Produce weekly reports on KPI metrics and monitoring performance against this
3) Work with 3PL teams to resolve issues impacting the 3PL in Inventory Control or Quality, Shipping, Transportation, Inbound and Outbound
4) Perform site audits to identify risk at 3PL in terms of processes, buffer control, health and safety, site fullness or any improvement needed
5) Support Amazon departmental queries arising from 3PL site including Customer Services, Supply Chain, Retail, Transportation, After Market Services, and Retail Business Services
6) Trouble Shoot any systemic issues identified escalating to the relevant Amazon and 3PL team to resolve
7) Perform trainings or improvement on processes
8) Visit 3PL for audits, training and process improvement workshops
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Several years of experience in logistics, e.g. as a warehouse worker, auditor or process improvement specialist
- Good computer literacy: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- B2 English and B2 Dutch proficiency
- Ability to travel freely for business within the country (up to 50%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in Amazon operations
- Bachelor degree
- Technical experience in a similar role as a specialist
- Have autonomy, initiative and proactivity in problem solving
- Being able to cope with a fast-paced environment and several priorities
- Basic knowledge of SQL
