We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Technical Business Development Manager to spearhead the expansion of our Generative AI solutions in Healthcare across the EMEA region. Join us and play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare with AI, working with a diverse range of customers and partners to help them leverage our advanced AI technologies to drive business outcomes.

The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) is looking for a Technical Business Development Manager for Generative AI for the Healthcare EMEA team to help accelerate our growing business. As a Technical Business Development Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and adoption of our Generative AI solutions across the EMEA region. You will work closely with healthcare organizations, partners, and internal teams to design, implement, and promote AI-driven solutions that address the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.

Please note, this role can be based in any of the following locations: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, or Israel

Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include identifying and developing new business opportunities for Generative AI products and solutions within the EMEA healthcare sector; Contributing and executing the healthcare business and technical strategy in EMEA while driving projects and relationships with strategic customers and partners across the region; Developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive adoption; Lead innovation projects to build GenAI applications and FM models.
Designing complex solutions together with our customers and partners. In addition, you will work closely with the health industry, service, and engineering teams to improve the AWS offerings to incubate new solutions and unlock generative AI healthcare workloads. You will also support the development and execution of architectural scaling mechanism spanning sales, marketing, and partner activities to support account teams in countries within the EMEA region.

This role will require to travel within the EMEA region.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong technical skill with specialization in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies including natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning, with a focus on healthcare applications.

- Proven experience in the healthcare industry with deep understanding of the healthcare delivery, systems of care, and/or research as well as healthcare markets, security and compliance standards for designing of large-scale cloud computing solutions.
- Successful track record in technical business development or sales engineering role, preferably within the healthcare technology sector.

- Possess experience in driving engagements and interacting with customer and partners (including C-suite executives, decision-makers, and technical leads) and lead strategic projects, deep-dive education and technology design exercises to create innovative, secure and robust solutions for healthcare organizations.

- Have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and delivering results is a must.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a technical business development or sales engineering role, preferably within the AI or healthcare technology sector.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies, applications, and market trends, particularly in healthcare.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to address customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
