Area Manager, AMZL
DESCRIPTION
※The work location for this position is a logistics base located in Hirakata city, Osaka.
We handle hundreds of millions of products, and items received from many suppliers are consolidated into logistics hubs called fulfillment centers and delivered to customers via delivery stations (DS) in various regions.
Area managers are entrusted with planning and managing shipping plans and delivery routes to efficiently and smoothly deliver a huge number of products.
Currently, we are focusing on expanding DS nationwide in order to expand our logistics network, and we can be involved in new businesses that evolve logistics at Amazon's important bases.

Key job responsibilities
■Delivery Management
We will prepare plans for sorting/shipping operations and delivery routes for incoming products.
We plan “which items will be sorted, when, and by how many people,” “to which regions, and in what order.”
The senior area manager will carry out the overall work and personnel planning. We will cooperate firmly and make plans for sorting, delivery, etc. to proceed without a hitch.
■Shift/Attendance/Work Management
It is a management job for staff responsible for sorting, shipping, delivery, etc.
There are dozens of personnel.
In addition to organizing shifts according to logistics flow, we also manage whether operations are progressing smoothly.
We cooperate with assistant staff (3 to 4 people) who are in charge of shift adjustments to grasp the situation and issue instructions.
Business management is carried out through an in-house system.
■Business Improvement
It is a task to achieve improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and work efficiency.
We find problems in business flow, work environment, work content, etc., and formulate improvement plans and implementation plans.
Since business improvement meetings are held regularly with senior area managers, they are required to actively express opinions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year college bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- PC skills for beginners (level where you can do the four arithmetic operations)
- Business level (reading, writing, speaking) Japanese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience coaching staff and team leaders regardless of industry
- Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture.
- 5 or more people with management experience
