Sr UX Designer, Rewarded Ads

DESCRIPTION

The Rewarded Ads team is building innovative new ad experiences that offer customers rewards when they perform an action like buying a brand's products, watching a video on Fire TV, or engaging with a stream on Twitch. These experiences delight customers and deliver results for advertisers. We're looking for an experienced designer to lead UX design for our team.

Key job responsibilities
- Design engaging new ad experiences for shoppers
- Create simple and intuitive solutions for advertisers to create and manage their campaigns
- Work closely with product, ux research, engineering, and designers on other teams
- Proactively pitch new ideas
- Quickly and iteratively create wireframes and higher fidelity designs
- Be a champion for user-centered design by researching/testing your solutions in front of users
- Present design work to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Mentor other designers

About the team
The Rewarded Ads team is mostly located in Los Angeles (Santa Monica) and San Diego. We are an entrepreneurial team and we're excited to be working on some of Amazon Ads' most exciting new offerings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
- Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
- Able to take ambiguous design problems and work with stakeholders and user research insights to craft design solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
