Our mission is to design world-class pay programs that enable Amazon to attract and retain the best talent.

Our team sets and executes strategy on compensation health, including defining pay range architecture, budgeting and optimizing annual compensation spend, designing compensation processes, and reporting results. We are developing new scientific models and algorithms that scale pay for hundreds of thousands of Amazon employees worldwide. We work with tech teams to design and build new products that make compensation processes easy and provide learning and support to users exactly when they need it. We consistently measure the voice of our internal customers and use that to improve our processes, models, messaging, and technology.

 

This fast-growing, interdisciplinary team is working at the intersection of science, analytics, machine learning, process improvement, product development, and learning and experience design.

 

Our team includes compensation experts, research scientists, data scientists, applied scientists, product managers, data engineers, economists, business intelligence engineers, learning experience designers, and program managers.
