The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is one of the five ethnic minorities Autonomous Regions in China, and the largest community of Hui Nationality in the country. It is the artery of the "Silk Road" in the history, also known as "Oasis in the hinterland."

Zhongwei city, located in the Midwest of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the intersection of the three provinces of Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Gansu, is an important production base of commodity grain, aquatic product and facility vegetable in northwest China.

Because of its unique geographical advantages, Zhongwei city has the advantages of location, geology, climate and power in the development of cloud computing industry, and is building up to become the cloud base in western China.
