The power of any product starts with the plan – defining, adapting, and delivering a solution that solves a customer’s challenge. As a Senior Product Manager– Technical (PMT), you’ll be the end-to-end owner of one of our software, hardware, or technical services. You’ll dive deep to understand the product from both a technical and customer perspective, and collaborate with engineers and business partners across Amazon to build, launch, and grow solutions that transform how your customers do business.
I’m passionate about two things: finding patterns and signals in chaos, and solving problems for the masses. As a PMT, you get to do both and more. On my team, I’m surrounded by extremely smart people who are committed to solving different parts of a problem for customers across the world. It’s exciting to have the opportunity and freedom to define solutions for problems that have not been solved so far.

PMTs engage with developers, business leaders, and Chief Information Officers to understand and advocate for their objectives throughout the entire product lifecycle. You’ll build compelling technical marketing and pricing strategies to drive product awareness, define and drive new product capabilities, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver your product for your customer. Your expertise and insights will enable your customers to make the most of Amazon’s unmatched technical capabilities.
In my five years across three different roles and teams, I’ve encountered really fascinating problems which make each day unique and have given me the chance grow, sharpen my technical skills, and zero in on balancing the needs of thousands of stakeholder groups. And I’ve gotten to do all this while having a global impact, from leading the creation of strategic forecasts to inform multi-billion dollar decisions to helping to make our front-ends more accessible.

The PMT role is essential to Amazon’s mission to be earth’s most customer-centric company, so we’re looking for outstanding individuals who want to think big and deliver results for our customers. If you’re currently enrolled in an MBA or equivalent master’s degree program, have an undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics or relevant tech industry experience, and have at least three years of professional or military experience, we would love to hear from you.
