We are the INTech family. Great to meet you! We own the discovery and delivery of Amazon’s engineering to all the customers and cultures of the world. We do this through a combination of innovative new projects and partnerships with other Amazon technical teams. We make sure that each of our websites is a thoughtful combination of best practices and unique last mile engineering driven by each country’s customers’ needs. Our technology stack span from front-end customer experience to back-end service technology driving the implementation and adoption of high impact solutions.

At INTech, we build systems to allow our customers to purchase items that require an extra set of verification, for example from government bodies including pet prescription food and aged verification products. Our systems collect information that are legally verified before the final product is shipped to the customers.

We have multiple sets of customers, the end consumers and the third party sellers, and we own the entire software life-cycle of a shopping experience from the beginning of the customer journey all the way to the end. The multiyear vision is to build the foundation of new business lines across the EU, progressively expanding to new markets.

Our main used programming language is Java but when needed we switched to different languages for particular projects or problems to be solved on a AWS native environment. Among other things we work on optical recognition and ML capabilities like all Amazon teams, we Work Hard, Have Fun and Make History. And...we are passionate about our people, from ensuring our teams are safe and well to dedicated focus on career and skill development, our priority is our people.

Spanning across 4 continents and 14 countries, INTech is a truly worldwide team. Our largest population sites are in Luxembourg, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Beijing and Seattle; and there are plenty more sites and teams to choose from!

• Mother's Room: The room is furnished with comfortable chair, baby changing table, coat stand, table comfort for breast milk pumping activity, wipes and a blanket. In this space there is an equipped kitchen with refrigerator, sink, hydro tap (filtered water - boiling, chilled/ambient and sparkling), tea, milk, cups and individual cutlery.
• Quiet Room: Available for a nap or a nice place to escape when needed. The room is furnished with a comfortable chair, a puff chair cushion and a table.
• Multi Faith Room: This room is available to any employee that would like to have a moment of prayer. It is furnished with a comfortable seat, carpets and a table.
• Wellness Room: This is a community space where sport classes are hosted. Amazonians are free to organize their own classes or bring in external providers to run classes.
• Game Room: The games room is involved in a comfortable atmosphere mixed with a Western Mood, since it's literally integrated on a former vault in which offers to all employees the opportunity to relax and enjoy some leisure activities and are equipped as follows: pool table, football table, darts board, tennis table and games console.
• Chillout zone There are Chill-out zones available throughout the building to any employee that would like to have a quiet moment to themselves.
