Amazon Advertising is hiring a Manager of Account Management in Madrid to lead a team of Senior Account Managers. You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and organizational goals while providing world-class service to clients.
We are looking for a candidate with strong business acumen, sales and people management skills, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be a self-starter, and excel in finding solutions independently.
You will coach and lead your team to be strategic consultants for their vertical, providing media insights and strategies that drive revenue growth for your customers. You will leverage your experience and judgment to define organizational strategy, processes, tools, and incentives to maximize ROI and accelerate growth. You will drive the execution of your strategy, ensuring that your team is consistently delivering measurable results in advertiser satisfaction and YoY revenue growth, renewal rates as well as revenue targets. You will partner closely with sales leadership, peer leaders in the Insights and Performance Team, and product leadership to establish joint goals and strategies to drive both advertiser satisfaction and enable your team to achieve their revenue targets.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead and work with the team to achieve revenue targets.
• Drive the team to meet organizational objectives and strategic goals.
• Analyze client needs, gather feedback, and implement solutions to enhance their advertising experience with Amazon Advertising.
• Develop the team's sales skills, business acumen, and ability to generate innovative and insightful solutions.
• Support the team during client negotiations and ensure successful outcomes.
• Engage with Amazon Advertising leadership and product/platform teams to represent business results and advocate for customer needs.
• Hire, mentor, and build a high-performing team.
• Conduct resource management, capacity planning, and account allocation to optimize team performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience
• 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or client facing roles, with 3+ years experience in people management
• Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
• High level analytical abilities
• Ability to establish effective cross team and cross functional partnerships to drive cross-team initiatives
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong negotiating skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
• An ability to deal with ambiguity. Can deliver results and drive change in loosely defined situations.
• Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Superior verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience
• Proven record of attracting, retaining and growing talents
• Fluent in Spanish and English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous people management experience in the industry
• Master degree
