DESCRIPTION

Amazon External Fulfillment Services (AEFS) provides fulfillment technology services to third-party companies, helping them to improve their fulfillment capabilities for the benefit of our Customers. As a Commercial manager, you will have a dual role. On one hand you will work with Amazon stakeholders to rollout strategic projects allowing AEFS to scale its services across the different Amazon business lines and geographies. To achieve this, you will support the launches of new buildings and rollout of new Amazon improvement projects.
On the other hand, your role will be external-facing as you will be the commercial counterpart for the AEFS final customers. This will include supporting tenders, framing and negotiating service agreements, being the customer's ambassador towards the internal teams, develop and manage a portfolio of consulting activities for the 3PL partners.
This role will involve about 30% travel and must be based from our Luxembourg office.


Key job responsibilities
• Work with third party logistics providers: collecting their needs with regards to the AEFS scope of services, gathering data, and translating those into requirements to the internal teams.
• Support 3PL vendors in request for quotations (RFQ) and site renewals
• Provide AEFS quotations to 3PL vendors for consulting services.
• Drive contractual approvals and signatures with both internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the project portfolio and support rollout of Amazon continuous improvement initiatives in 3PL sites.
• Develop a portfolio of consulting activities and the coordinate the execution with external and internal parties.


About the team
The Amazon External Fulfillment Services (AEFS) team is growing and we are hiring a Commercial Manager with European responsibilities to join the team in our European Headquarters in lovely Luxembourg.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in program or project management
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Relevant experience in contracts negotiation
- A relevant degree or degree equivalent (e.g., business administration, project management).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- Experience leading process improvements
- A project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, APM, Scrum)
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Relevant advanced experience with project management systems (e.g., Clarity, Asana, MS Project, Playbook)
