Senior Product Manager, Fire Tablets
DESCRIPTION
The Fire tablet team is hiring a Product Manager to lead development of our on-device customer education strategy. This role mixes components of product management and product marketing, requiring comfortability working with technical teams to drive product development roadmaps, as well as develop marketing campaigns and notification strategies that speak directly to the customer. This role is high-impact and high visibility, helping tens of millions of Fire tablet customers get the most out of their devices.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive on-device customer education roadmap and opportunities, including crisp working backward documents outlining solutions.
- Own MarTech roadmap that enables on-device marketing campaigns.
- Own customer product marketing and communication strategy for new features and device navigation.
- Identify customer pain points and innovative solutions to those pain points.
- Create buy-in for product vision across all stakeholders. Highly cross-functional role.
- Own team level and influence organization level prioritization and trade-offs including product ideation, program management and marketing.
About the team
The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle, Fire tablet, Fire TV, and Echo. Fire tablets are among the most popular consumer electronics devices on the market, with easy access to millions of apps, games, movies, books, and more. It is just Day 1 for Amazon devices and we are looking for proven, customer-centric product leaders to help continue to innovate and grow our device business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
