DESCRIPTION

Public Policy is seeking a Billing Analyst to support our growing team. Responsibilities include setting up new vendors for payment, processing and reviewing invoices to ensure adherence to billing requirements, opening purchase orders, researching questions regarding status of payments, and performing other billing tasks as needed. This position will work with teams across the globe, learning country-specific billing processes and acting as the billing point of contact for Public Policy team members, vendors, and other internal departments.

- Take effective action while dealing with ambiguity.

The right candidate will be client-service oriented. They will have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and an ability to pivot and adapt quickly. The ideal candidate will lead process improvement efforts, including working to simplify and centralize the billing process for the organization.

A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside of the company is essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in finance, billing, or a related analytical field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Familiarity with Coupa, Salesforce, and/or Oracle software
