DESCRIPTION

Shopbop, the leading online fashion boutique and Amazon subsidiary, is looking for a Buying Intern. The Buying Intern will be immersed in a 10 week program involved with vendor set up, Purchase Order entry and maintenance, SIM resolution, RTV entry and generating reporting for the Buying team. The Buying Intern will help grow and maintain relationships with key vendors and drive business goals. The successful candidate will have a keen sense of fashion and trends, be self-starting, flexible, highly organized, results oriented, and reliable. They will have excellent analytical, retail math and computer skills. They must have the proven ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment where teamwork is key.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in retail merchandising or related field with an expected conferral date between December 2025 and May 2026
Work, internship, or other leadership experience in a professional environment
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word) and ability to quickly learn new systems
Familiarity with and interest in fashion trends, designers, and ecommerce
Strong attention to detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.97/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $36.35/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
