Program Manager Labor Planning Sort Center, Last Mile Planning

We are seeking a Program Manager (PM) to lead a team of labor planning managers and analysts and be responsible for labor planning activities across Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Mexico. The core functionality of the role is to lead the network planners and act as a Subject Matter Expert who can teach and influence all aspects of production planning tactically and strategically.
The Program Manager is expected to be highly analytical, understand complex systems and influence the various stakeholders impacting labor planning, including Sort Center Operations, Operations Finance, Human Resources, Workforce Staffing and Supply Chain teams, in order to develop labor plans that are accurate and achievable across Sort Center (SC). The decisions made by this role can have a significant impact on capacity placement, associate experience and overall costs associated with how well the labor plan balances between the site and the network level constraints.
Key job responsibilities
Define the overall capacity under the roof across Mexico
Lead labor planning mid- and long-term activities for all DS
Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to improve the labor planning process which ultimately enable the AMZ to meet and exceed business plan
Leverage the labor planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) teams by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the supply chain planning and execution.
Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices in labor planning are shared across the network.
Manage others, develop exceptional talent, and encourage your team to challenge assumptions
Promote recruiting efforts across the network to continually hire and develop the best
Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
