We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide financial partnership towards driving growth of the existing business as well as development of new products and strategies.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Sponsored Brands product leadership across product and science teams to define goals, track performance and craft high impact growth strategies.
- Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans and measure and analyze results.
- Partner with cross functional finance teams and own monthly and weekly financial and operational performance metrics for your business e.g. Weekly Business Reviews.

A day in the life
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will closely work with business and finance leaders to develop financial models for both short and long term business and financial goals, evaluate new business opportunities, and drive business initiatives for Sponsored Brands ads product. This role will partner with Product and Engineering leads across Sponsored Brands. This is a high visibility role, working across multiple teams in Amazon towards growing Sponsored Brands Advertising worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
