The Digital, Advertising and Corporate Development Finance organisation leads the finance function for some of the most dynamic and rapidly growing businesses within Amazon. We support the Advertising, Digital Video and Digital Music teams.   Our mission is to help businesses achieve their goals while ensuring that we invest in programmes that provide the best returns. We do this by working side by side with the businesses daily, helping them to solve their biggest challenges through action-oriented analysis/reporting and by driving value-added initiatives. Inherent to every project we drive, report we deliver or decision we support is unyielding controllership. Some of the businesses we support include:

• The Advertising team, which continues to push the boundaries of the way companies advertise on Amazon. Our WW Advertising programme consists of Performance Advertising, Display Advertising and Video Advertising segments. The team creates experiences that enhance the customer experience and help our advertisers to achieve their goals and builds solutions for third-party advertisers that make use of Kindle devices, mobile devices, video and display ads. We partner with sponsors and advertisers to create compelling interactive ads and branding experiences both locally and globally.
• The Digital Video team continues to innovate the way video content is offered to our customers. We provide a premium entertainment service that offers customers the greatest choices in what to watch and how to watch it, which includes critically acclaimed originals as well as premium library content.  Amazon Prime members get unlimited access to thousands of films and TV shows, including blockbuster films and popular TV shows, plus award-winning Amazon Original Series and films from Amazon Studios. Amazon Originals include hits like Transparent, The Man in the High Castle, Chi-Raq and children’s series Tumble Leaf. Prime members can also add subscriptions to premium channels like HBO, SHOWTIME, STARZ and dozens more to their memberships. Furthermore, all Amazon customers can rent or purchase hundreds of thousands of titles on demand, including newly released films and current TV shows.
• The Digital Music team strives to deliver a personalised and seamless music experience for our customers. We offer a premium listening experience through our services, Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music and the digital music store. We want to help our customers to discover up-and-coming artists, while also having access to their favourite established musicians.
• Amazon’s Corporate Development Finance group contains the corporate development teams that perform strategic acquisitions and investments, as well as supporting emerging businesses. Because of the rapid changes that come with launching emerging businesses, the make-up of Corporate Development will change more quickly over time than other businesses.
