As part of the onsite team, the Event Production Coordinator will provide calendar, organizational and administrative support to the team across EMEA. The primary focus is on managing booking requests and scheduling support for events. The successful candidate will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, impeccable customer service attitude, and be energetically driven to serve our customers

Key job responsibilities
* Daily scheduling of incoming event requests
* Maintaining multiple support calendars
* Understanding customer requests
* Setting and attending discovery calls
* Coordinating with various teams on resource availability
* Fostering strong customer and team relationships
* Assisting with special projects and improve workflows
* Effective escalation of urgent or high importance matters
* Continuously enhance the customer experience
* Logging and basic reporting of team metrics

A day in the life
As an Event Production Coordinator, your day revolves around managing and scheduling incoming event requests and maintaining multiple calendars. You will be the first point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring a customer obsessed service. Your role involves understanding customer needs, working closely with producers, and delegating tasks appropriately to ensure smooth event execution. You will combine strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on improving processes to support seamless event production delivery.

About the team
The Event Production team provides high quality support to internal Amazon customers. The team consists of engineers who work daily with the production equipment, helping to plan and execute each event within the space. The Event Production team culture is built around providing quality customer support for each event, and works to customize each event to provide the maximum results for each customer

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years in project management
- 2+ years of event planning experience
- Understanding of audio-visual systems
- Complex calendar management experience
- Professional office environment experience
- Prioritization while multi-tasking under pressure and within short time constraints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint
- Passionate about improving the customer experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiarity with event/Studio support processes
- Has a strong desire to learn
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes
- Familiarity with Asana, project management platforms
