The Role:
The Sustaining Operations Program Manager is responsible for ensuring production health for Mass production, Post Ramp Qualification, and Sustaining programs at the contract manufacturer for core eero products. This role begins as the ‘go-to’ person for all sustaining production activities. Engaging as early as production ramp-up, you interface with NPI, supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing engineering, hardware R&D, and quality, and represent eero to the factory. You are DRI for auditing forecasting, meeting goals for production and executing post-ramp-qualifications. During PRQ, your responsibility is to triage, drive qualification builds, and plan implementation of change orders. You have an expert knowledge of purchase orders, component lead-times, logistics implications, and IQC/OQC to ensure a healthy flow of product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Be the on-site lead for eero at the factory executing eero priorities day to day.
● Lead eero’s contract manufacturer on site by managing factory meetings, clear-to-build, scheduling, production issues, and delivery of parts in coordination with eero Supply Chain, Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality. Drive daily meetings with manufacturer and eero sustaining team to ensure forward movement of any production line risks.
● Triage and execute factory scheduling of Post Ramp Qualification builds through to implementation. Own PQR budget planning and cost saving reporting.
● Track all changes and deviations to implementation.
● Communicate production status to cross-functional team on all factory metrics and health. Own weekly status reporting and monthly cost reporting.
● Ensure factory alignment of NPI component costs vs MP component cost strategy set by Sourcing team
● Work with SQE, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to resolve any material gating issues.
● Manage product End of Manufacturing transition.
● Be the expert by demonstrating detailed knowledge of "how the factory works," its capabilities, limitations, lead-times, etc.
● Support coverage for activities occurring at factory.
● Manage projects and actions resulting from Supplier Business Reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
● 5+ years in consumer electronics industry possessing direct responsibility in the areas of factory NPI, supply chain, materials management, and sourcing
● Expertise in explaining Product LifeCycle (EVT, DVT, PVT, PRQ, SUS, EOL)
● Must be fluent in Vietnamese with strong English writing and speaking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Expert in component procurement and can manage complex multi-revision parts
● Demonstrated experience in gathering full details while having ability of concise communication
● Degree in Supply Chain management or Engineering Management
● Exceptional communication skills via brevity and details, you can communicate to both factory technician and CEO.
● Attention to detail without becoming lost in the details
● Mandarin Chinese language is a plus
