The AWS Security team is responsible for protecting all AWS services, including EC2, S3, and many others. We collaborate with numerous AWS teams to solve security challenges at massive scale, building services that meet our customers' security and compliance needs.
Role Overview We're seeking exceptional software and systems professionals to help raise the security bar for cloud computing. You'll be part of developing innovative security solutions, from new authentication systems to hardware security components, cryptography, and large-scale audit analysis.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement new security features in collaboration with users, while creating and demonstrating security solution prototypes. Your work will involve deploying software through large automated systems and providing operational support for deployed solutions. You'll develop automated solutions for operational challenges and integrate applications across AWS services. A significant part of your role will include collaborating with various AWS teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal security solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
