Have you ever wondered how Amazon delivers so quickly, or if delivery speeds could improve even further? In the Amazon EU Placement & Inbound Supply Chain team, we drive innovation for our customers to enhance product availability and speed while reducing costs and carbon emissions on the end-to-end supply chain from Selling Partners. This role will give an unique view into Amazon Inbound and Inventory Placement systems, processes, and operations, enabling collaboration with business, planning, operations, and technical teams.

Among others, you will have the opportunity to simplify our supply chain network to deliver faster and cheaper. If you excel at coordinating cross-functional and ambiguous initiatives leveraging data, removing team blockers, interacting with senior leadership, and have a track record in Program Management (or similar), we'd like to talk to you.

This position is based out of our EU Headquarters in Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and remove blockers to accelerate delivery
• Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organisation
• Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organisations
• Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programs, seeing them through from start to finish
• Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with your stakeholders

A day in the life
• Collaborate with other Program or Product Managers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists and Finance Analysts to develop the right mechanisms to work backwards from a business goal.
• Partner with Business and Tech teams to prioritize impactful insights or get support for an initiative.
• Understand the Supply Chain set-up of Selling Partners and carriers to create solutions that bring end-to-end value.
• Monitor key metrics and response efforts when anomalies occur with the help of Business Intelligence Engineers.
• Design and coordinate data-driven experiments to drive innovation.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance updates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in HR shared services, IT services, operations and/or compliance
