Electrical Engineer Intern, Amazon Ring Vietnam Design Center

Amazon Ring Vietnam Design Center is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and validating electronic products. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop innovative hardware solutions, perform electrical debugging, and contribute to real-world projects that impact millions of customers globally.
Key job responsibilities
- Assist in schematic design and/or PCB layout reviews to support new product development.
- Perform circuit analysis, schematic capturing, and component selection to optimize performance.
- Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation testing of prototypes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs.
- Support design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) efforts to ensure mass production readiness.
- Document findings, test results, and design improvements in clear technical reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Able to commit to a full-time internship for 3-months 2025
- Legally authorized to work in Vietnam
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, power electronics, and signal integrity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with hardware validation and debugging.
- Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity and power delivery analysis.
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance and certification processes.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages for automation.
- Previous internship or project experience in consumer electronics or IoT devices.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
