DESCRIPTION

The 3P Pricing team is looking for looking for experienced software engineers who are excited to build pricing products for Amazon’s Selling Partners worldwide. SDE on our team will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying distributed systems and large-scale solutions for Global Sellers.

Our team’s mission is to help Sellers across the world grow their business by offering Customers the best prices on the internet for their entire selection. The core of our strategy is to make it easy for Sellers to match or beat competitor prices. We build products and systems to: (1) Provide Sellers relevant and actionable data, notifications, and recommendations to optimize pricing decisions, (2) Build tools to facilitate competitive price automation at scale, and (3) Build and operate secured, optimized, and scalable systems that empower Selling Partners to achieve pricing objectives.

Software development engineer on this team look at problems holistically, and thrive on the intricate complexity of designing feedback loops and ecosystems. You will be working on projects where you implement solutions to real problems that require creative solutions and deep understanding of the problem space. You will be challenging yourself and others to constantly come up with better solutions. You work closely with the business to define the expansion strategy and figure out innovative solutions to fuel exponential growth of this business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
