The Organization:
Transparency by Amazon represents an opportunity to raise retail industry standards around authenticity, product transparency, and supply chain tracking. Transparency is a strategic new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product launched by Amazon for the global consumer goods industry. We are focused on building a global service which allows brands and consumers to trace the origin of items throughout the supply chain ensuring only authentic items enter the supply chain. The Transparency service is focused on preventing the receipt and sale of counterfeit goods both online and offline. Our customers include individual consumer brands who sell both on and off of Amazon direct and through a network of third-party sellers.
The Role:
Transparency by Amazon is looking for a talented and experienced Salesforce.com developer to facilitate sales automation and enablement initiatives, and manage the integrations to our various business systems for our Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment. This includes security, development, configuration, maintenance, administration, and integration with other systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Ownership of all technical aspects of SalesForce.com, including data migrations, information security, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications and AppExchange products.
· Responsible for developing customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.
· Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
· Seek out opportunities to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
· Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with distributed systems at scale

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
