Sales Compensation Analyst, Sales & Partner Operations
DESCRIPTION
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
This position will be responsible for the administration of sales compensation plans and business analysis of the sales compensation program across our B2B and Partner organization. This position will be responsible for driving sales compensation operational excellence, and administration of key sales compensation data. The role will be responsible for our auditing programs, adherence to governance, performance management and own the review process. The role will also provide analytical support focused on understanding sales compensation program performance insight, and revenue performance dynamics. The role will further support projects that are focused on developing and refining the sales compensation strategy of the sales organization. The role will support business and performance reviews and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
A successful individual will be results oriented and have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, write effectively, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. The candidate must also be able to build strong cross-group working relationships.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- 3+ years of experience in the areas of finance, sales compensation, or sales operations with in-depth understanding of sales compensation practices.
- 3+ years incentive compensation / performance management software knowledge and understanding
- 3+ years Excel experience and the ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into insights and action
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Exhibits sound strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading data-driven analyses to support and grow a business.
- Sales compensation domain expertise
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, multi-tasking individual with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work effectively cross-organizationally

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
