Sr. Program Manager, Ops Enablement, On-Road Staffing

The On-Road Staffing (ORS) team is seeking a visionary and tenacious leader for the role of Sr. PM Ops Enablement, On-Road Staffing (ORS). This multifaceted position demands a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and influential capabilities, impacting our global operations across the Americas and supporting over 100 team members. The ideal candidate will excel in balancing tactical execution with long-term strategic vision, demonstrating a willingness to prioritize sustainable growth over short-term gains. This highly visible role requires extensive interaction with senior leaders worldwide, necessitating experience in operations, broad analytical skills, global program management, and success in matrix organizations.
The Sr. Program Manager, Ops Enablement must possess exceptional business acumen, outstanding written and oral communication abilities, and the capacity to anticipate future business needs while aligning goals accordingly. They will be responsible for managing complex initiatives to completion, owning team metrics, and delivering progress reports through director/VP level business reviews. The role involves navigating high-impact, ambiguous goals that demand strategic planning and input from diverse customer segments. The successful candidate will manage unique and complex deliverables alongside quick-turn projects, consistently demonstrating sound business judgment. They must be adept at innovating and improving operational processes, suggesting new ideas and best practices to enhance the business with a frugal yet ambitious approach. This position requires a deep dive into existing processes, understanding current capabilities and limitations, all while continuously innovating and refining business operational deliverables.
Key job responsibilities
• Build partnerships with diversified partners globally.
• Explore and incubate the strategic partners for On-Road Staffing (ORS) and define partner-specific shared goals; design partner operation strategies, and explore new business models to grow the business.
• Discover innovative collaborative models that fit into partners' short-term and long-term business objectives and strategize platform resources to achieve the shared interest.
• Work at a strategic level to champion bold and creative ideas, and at a tactical level to ensure execution excellence of plans, that are designed to deliver scalable, efficient solutions based on global frameworks.
• Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives.
• Create an execution plan and facilitate day-to-day executions to record the growth, and progress of partner success.
• Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with sr. leadership.
• Own top-level goals, metrics and strategy for global initiatives, and ensure teams meet related objectives.
• Earn trust from internal and external partners, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
• Derive critical insights by analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvements, gathering requirements, and prioritizing requests.
• Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics, as well as produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, as well as balance business needs versus constraints.
• Gain and maintain awareness of labor markets and their impact on Amazon’s hourly staffing needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- PMP

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
