Are you ready to shape the future of commerce? Amazon seeking a Senior Sales Leader to define strategy and execute tactical plans for our innovative New Project. This role will reinvent customer engagement with our platform.
The sales manager plans and delivers quotas, builds and develops accounts managers (who we call customer advisors), implements prospect acquisition and customer growth campaigns, and fosters voice of customer feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience building sales teams from scratch, growing sales teams, consistently delivering multi-million dollar quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, and developing cross-functional relationships to voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
In this position, you'll be at the forefront of Amazon's newest venture, helping to shape the future of how customers interact with our platform. Your ability to adapt to changing environments and drive growth in new markets will be crucial to our success.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead a sales team to Deliver Results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while always placing the customer first
- Develop regional territory plans and report on them quarterly
- Drive prioritized lead generation for the team
- Lead and inspire a growing organization comprised of enterprise customer advisors on customer acquisition and growth
- Hire and Develop customer advisors to support continued, “rocket ship” growth
- Understand and mechanize the inputs and outputs of the business
- Drive customer satisfaction across the customer base with expert account management
- Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to test, measure, and execute tactical sales
- Partner with Category and Product Management teams to drive product improvement ideas
- Take an Ownership role in the continued build-out and documentation of sales infrastructure
- Present results in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings to key internal stakeholders and executives
- Close complex deals and help reps negotiate large deals

Your day might involve strategizing with your team, analyzing sales data, meeting with key stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. You'll balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on involvement in complex deals and customer relationships.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of sales experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience planning, managing and closing competitive sales efforts and managing deals from negotiation, to closing and through delivery
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience influencing C-level executives
- Experience managing a team and training/on-boarding new members
