Sr Program Mgr, University Engagement, Amazon University Talent Acquisition
DESCRIPTION
The Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support AUTA in its vision of shaping the Amazon of tomorrow by unlocking career opportunities for students today. This role will drive forward AUTA’s school engagement strategy, which aims to deliver high quality student talent to Amazon through investment in university relationships. They will own the organization’s all-up strategy, working backward from business and university feedback on ways to advance Amazon’s brand and recruiting outcomes. They will work through recruiting teams to execute on priorities and track progress, providing centralized support, resources, and best practices. The successful candidate will balance analytical skillsets with an ability to think big, developing targeted, measurable strategies while also taking calculated risks to experiment with new ideas that help to establish Amazon as a leader in the university recruiting space.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with research science teams to review AUTA’s target school list annually, leveraging data to inform decisions on investment levels.
- Collaborate with recruiting leads to define best practices for school engagement, and provide guidance on individual school recruiting strategies.
- Develop KPIs that measure the success and ROI of AUTA’s school engagement strategy, partnering with data teams to build standard reporting and tracking mechanisms.
- Provide executives with visibility into progress on AUTA’s school engagement strategy, developing regular short-form status updates and long-form strategic narratives.
- Work with Amazon executives to become guest lecturers and adjunct professor at targeted schools.
- Drive networking forums with university faculty and staff to inform AUTA’s school engagement strategy.
- Identify and execute on an approach to developing an Amazon-specific course at a university.
- Coordinate an annual school summit for university faculty and staff to come together with technology companies on emerging industry trends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in HR, Recruiting, and/or Higher Education field(s)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
