Drive Growth in Amazon's Consumables Category
Amazon is seeking a Senior Category Merchant Manager to drive growth of our Consumables category within the Brazilian marketplace. This role will focus on developing strategies for Beauty, Health and Personal Care, Pets, Groceries, Wine and Spirits, and Personal Care Appliances.
About the Role:
As Senior Category Merchant Manager, you will be crucial in expanding the Consumables category in Amazon's Brazilian marketplace. Your analytical skills and project management experience will be essential in identifying growth opportunities and optimizing seller performance within this diverse category.
Key job responsibilities
Your challenge:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Consumables category
- Analyze category performance within the marketplace and identify areas for improvement
- Manage projects to enhance seller operations and Consumables category efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions for the category
- Prepare and present Consumables category business reviews to leadership
- Monitor, analyze, and improve seller performance metrics within the category
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making for the Consumables category
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience on project/program management
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in retailers/marketplace business
- Understanding of diverse Consumables subcategories and market trends
