Senior Creative Director, Prime, North America Stores
DESCRIPTION
The North America Stores team is seeking a Senior Creative Director to focus on one of Amazon's most valuable offerings: Prime. You will be responsible for crafting the creative vision for Prime and guiding a multidisciplinary team of designers and writers to develop impactful work that delights our customers across all channels. This role requires exceptional creative leadership and strategic thinking to solve complex marketing asks through a creative lens.
As a Sr. Creative Director you will manage a creative team and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional creative marketing craft, collaborative mindset, high judgment, bias for action, and ability to deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Oversee creative execution for all Prime North America (NA) events across email, site, push, paid, social, and homepage
- Manage a multidisciplinary creative team including designers and writers
- Partner with the global brand team to ensure alignment on design, voice, and tone across all creative
- Oversee agencies in the ideation of a campaign, production, and execution, ensuring that all marketing assets meet a high level of creativity, innovation, and brand association, on time and within budget
- Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging marketing trends and GenAI innovations into the creative strategy and execution
- Lead ideation sessions and design reviews
- Create Prime style guides for all new benefits
- Scope projects and forecast resource needs with key stakeholders
- Create bespoke creative strategies with a strong POV and vision, providing clear direction to internal and external partners
- Proactively solve problems on behalf of team, seeking clarification when faced with ambiguity and escalating as necessary
- Communicate with key stakeholders internally and externally in a spirit of collaboration, building strong relationships, and articulating complex issues/problems effectively
- Promote the growth and development of in-house creative talent through design reviews, coaching and mentorship opportunities, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and self-sufficiency

The Amazon North America Creative team is responsible for crafting bold, efficient, and breakthrough marketing content to reach and resonate with today's audience. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 15+ years of creative design experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Portfolio showcasing functional expertise with the ability to articulate ideas in print, outdoor, AV, social, digital, events and experiential that can effectively market products or services
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with consumer brands
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and partner teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven success in project management and execution across all forms of media: print, video, social and digital mass media
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sharp attention to detail
- Excellent presentation skills
- Creative writing skills
- Experience in visual design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $274,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
