Sr Mgr, Logistics EMEA, AIS Supply Chain

AWS is looking for a Sr Manager to lead the EMEA Transportation, Warehousing and Brokerage teams. Responsible for operations across Ocean, Air and Over the road as well as warehouse operations and customs brokerage. This role has the opportunity to lead a high performing team in delivering capacity to AWS customers
Key job responsibilities
-A successful candidate will have operational background in supply chain management with a focus on transportation and extensive experience in complex project management
-Experience Managing high performing teams
-Ability to coordinate with multiple global and cross functional teams to achieve goals
-Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal and external teams to arrange and drive fulfillment services
-Execute strategic business objectives while working with key internal stakeholders to improve the supply chain with the latest internal and external information
-Shape supply chain strategy and design
-Drive automation efforts
-Prepare and give detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on improving transit times and associated impacts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders while leading high performing teams
Proficiency with data analysis (Excel, SQL, Tableau) Proven ability to manage large and complicated, cross-functional projects
Desire to create and implement annual operational plans
8-12+ years of years of relevant work experience in logistics, planning, manufacturing, finance or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters in Supply Chain
Knowledge of Lean Concepts
8-12 years experience in global logistics.
